Since he got married to the mother of his son in January, this year, Emmanuel Okose, alias Soul E, has remained in the news. The former lover of singer Queen Ure, told Daily Independent shortly after his wedding ceremony, about his metamorphosis to a prophet of God. True to his claim, he has been exhibiting traits of a prophet as he daily sends prophecies through his Facebook page and Blackberry Message.
Five weeks after, he prophesied looming calamity in Aso Rock, suspected Boko Haram detainees tried to break jail at the State Security Service (SSS) Headquarters, Aso Rock, Abuja. This resulted in a serious gun battle between members of the sect and officers of the SSS which at the end of the day, left 18 members of the sect dead.
Now it is the turn of Wizkid and Davido to be careful. According to him, “Wizkid should really be careful- that is, if he will listen to me. I might not be T.B. Joshua, but he should listen to me. Davido should also be careful because I didn’t even reveal all that I saw in my dream. I also said in my write-up that I saw Aso Rock on fire. It was like a terrorist attack on Aso Rock. President Goodluck Jonathan should call for a three-day fasting for the nation. I’m not saying this because I want to meet him; rather, because I’m a Nigerian and a prophet in this land. Of course, I know a prophet doesn’t have honour in his land. Jonathan should call all the men of God he knows to pray for him. He doesn’t have to call me,” he stated
However, his warnings that two governors from the Northern part of the country will die in 2015 hasn’t gone down well with those who think he is only seeking attention by such dooming prophesies.
As a result, he is being branded by people not comfortable with his brand of prophesies as “attention-seeker who is trying to seek relevance after his music career nose dived and prophet of doom.”
Reacting to these name callings, the singer turned prophet, told Daily Independent on Tuesday, he is not bothered with the opinions of these people.
Hear him; “I careless whatever anybody says because I’m simply obeying my Father in Heaven. I’ve passed the message and if those concerned are reasonable enough, they will get my contact and I in turn, will tell them what to do to avert the situation. I’m not going to tell them the remedy on social media. It will only work for those who will do the needful. I’m not a prophet of doom. I’m only speaking God’s mind. I don’t understand what people mean by saying I’m seeking for relevance, I don’t have time because I’m booked from now till October to minister in churches abroad. People have been calling me from different parts of the world.”
