This year is going again. We have entered almost half of it all. My worry is that life expectancy of every soul, living upon the planet earth is limited. As old as Methuselah, finally, he died. What is important may not actually be how many years you live. What is important may be what you achieve within the period of time that you live. There is record for how many people every individual is able to influence or impact at a given time.
There are many people that lived in this world without any particular reference. If you pass through this planet and nobody remembers you for any definite achievement, it is an abortion of destiny.
In the book of Rev. 5: 10-12, the bible says: “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”
From the above passage, it could be inferred that God categorically mentioned seven major mandates that man must celebrate while on earth.
The first in the long list is Power. Without power, you cannot experience any breakthrough. Without power, you cannot be celebrated. You are passing through the condition you have found yourself today because those that are afflicting you are more powerful than you do. In the book of Psalm 110: 1-3, the scripture also stressed the significance of power in the affairs of men. He said the Lord said to my Lord, sit down at my right hand. He gave a command that for you to have power, you must be ready to occupy the right hand of God so that by the time God stretches His hand, it touches you. He wants you to be very close to Him. He declared that while you stay on the right hand, one of the benefits is that He will make your enemy to be at your footstool. You will be in control. You will no longer be afflicted. You will be able to take decision over your enemy.
If you are boasting over what you have without power, you are not wise enough. Lack of power brings sickness and diseases. That is why they call them patients in the hospital because they have to be patient. How would a man not be patient when they fix up a drip on him, lying on the bed and this drops in seconds into his blood stream?
After power, others would come. Riches and wisdom are predominantly another set of mandates that God approved. Without money, there are several issues that might not be easily pursued. He said in his word that I wish you to be prosperous. If you are poor, you have no saying anywhere. The bible did not talk about ill-gotten wealth but those that are legitimately acquired.
Today, people are ready to get rich by all means. This is contrary to God’s rule. They trade on human parts, rituals, kidnapping, stealing and others. They are treading on dangerous pedestal. Their portion is in hell fire that burn with brimstone. In the course of your adventure for money, apply wisdom by running away from every appearance of sins as commanded. This is very essential for you to have rest of mind while living and to make heaven after leaving this world of vanity.
God said in that scripture that you must have strength too. You must not be feeble. You need to be strong. As a Christian, you must be battle ready because the ministry of Satan is to kill, to steal and to destroy. If he comes with his devises, you can only face him and win him when you are not weak. Weakness of the body, soul and spirit might be very risky.
If your enemy is coming with a sharp sword and you are sleeping, you have contravened the rule. This might be very unfortunate.
Another mandate according to that scripture is honour. As a Christian, you must thirst after things that are honourable. There are certain places you must not go. There are certain things you must not do. Anything that may tarnish the image of God Almighty, you must not do it. When you are honoured, you resemble God.
What are those things that have disgraced you in the past, you need to drop them? It is when your integrity can be guaranteed that you can be reckoned with in this dispensation. The last two mandates are related-Glory and Blessing. Every man comes to this world with specific assignment. You are not a product of accident.
God meant it to send you through your parents for a specific fulfillment. If you check your palm and compare it with that of your neighbor, you will discover that what was written there are not the same. Even the palms of identical twins carry different marks. What you have on your palm is the signature of God that
translates to your divine assignment which is otherwise called your glory. How many people on the planet earth are doing exactly what God has sent them to do?
Many people are doing the wrong thing because they have not located their glory. Inability to discover your glory leads to perpetual suffering. If you are sent to be a doctor and the powers of the wicked elders of your family disallow you, you may end up becoming a bus conductor. Some people are sent to become engineers. The best that have happened to them was their workshop beside the road as roadside mechanic. For you to enjoy the mandate of blessing, you must have discovered the reason behind your conception. Let me ask you: Are you sure what you are doing now was what you were sent to do? You need to go before God and settle this.
If you die without the knowledge of what you were sent to do, you may be blamed at the end but you will not blame God. I therefore encourage you to go and work on
the manifestation of these divine mandates.
