The presentation of the land in the Federal Capital Territory, done at a stakeholders’ forum of the AGN in Lagos, coincided with an event held to mark the one-year anniversary of AGN Lagos chapter chairman, Victor Osuagwu.

Fiberesima, widely regarded to have done a lot in her less than two years in office, left members with no choice but to sing, dance and clap for minutes at the meeting when they saw the evidence of her achievement.

According to her, President Goodluck Jonathan has once again demonstrated his love for the creative industry, especially Nollywood, as he has delivered the land promised AGN during a courtesy visit to him earlier this year.

At the presentation, Fiberesima, recalling the opposition to her interest in the presidency of the association based on her gender said, “they didn’t know women are the ones who know how to make things work much more. I chased this land like a lunatic because I didn’t want to hear that the certificate of occupancy did not come when I was president. So today, I’m so happy to present this certificate to the board of trustees,” she said, beaming with joy as she presented the documents to the board of trustees, Ifeanyi Dike.

Dike who could not contain his excitement said, “Madam president, I thank you for finally giving AGN a home. This is what we had in mind when we formed this guild. Once again, our President, Goodluck Jonathan has shown that he is a man to be trusted. On behalf of AGN, I say thank you.”

Fiberesima, in a chat with journalists at the event, announced her decision to run for a second term which according to her will give her the opportunity to consolidate on her achievements so far in office.
