Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, and several other notable guests will be by the side of socialite, Princess Calista Ahmed, today as she launches her foundation.
Tagged: “Amede Ajie Women of All Ages Foundation” (AAWOAAF), the non-governmental organisation founded by Princess Ahmed is expected to make history in the state. The event is billed to hold in Oguta, Imo State, Nigeria.
The NGO which is a project for the less privileged women in Nigeria was established to empower, educate, support women from birth to womanhood, to know their rights, values, safety, success, strength and to enable them actualise their visions.
Princess Ahmed, a former Nigerian Customs Officer, now a behavioural therapist, is a widow with children.
AAWAAF was named after Princess Ahmed’s great grandmother, a renowned philanthropist who died many years before she was born.
Princess Ahmed’s passion for special persons is based solely on her personal life experiences from birth till date.
