Primate Ayodele Elijah Babatunde is one prophet that is very frank about his prophecy. The founder of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos recently presented his annual prophetic book titled Warnings to All Nations which captures his revelations for 2015 and beyond apart from his 2014 predictions that have come to pass. News Editor Saturday, Ajibola Abayomi, speaks with him on some of his divine revelations in this interview. Excerpts…
We are in the second half of 2014 already, is God telling you anything about 2015?
God has always been warning and talking, it is left for Nigeria leaders to listen. Prophecies are not meant to cause panic, but those who are wise will humble themselves and wade off God’s wrath or any pending evil. Former Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako knows better now after his impeachment, I had warned his since last April. Some of his colleagues will still be troubled. There will be attempt to force the President to step down from standing for election. He should wary of some of his aides, they will betray him but he should be strong. Many of those who left Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will return to the party and more governors will be frustrated by PDP all in a bid to win the next general election. In some state there would be follow up election to determine the action winner of the presidential election between the PDP and APC candidates. The consequences must be committed to prayer. I am begging now that the President and his aides should not dismiss this with a wave of hand. Let them call on God. He needs to pray for safety in the first 10 months of his second term. I foresee attempts on his life. He has to be careful. May God give him the wisdom to carry on. Again, the 10 months that will follow the initial ones will shake the unity of the country. We will have a situation where people will come together with one voice and ask for separation. On that, political leaders need to appease the people to calm the situation otherwise there will be something similar to the Arab’s spring. Also after the election, governors will change and form a parallel government that will oppose Jonathan. I foresee the president struggling. All his good works won’t materialise in 2015. Travelling to Jerusalem for prayers won’t solve the problem until the President and nation is rededicated with prayers.
But Mr President that we know is a committed Christian, what manner of rededication are you talking about?
It goes beyond him attending churches or being noted as Christian. God is asking Nigeria to go into nine days national fasting to be led by His prophets after that there should be thanksgiving. I have given the message, if those steps are taken with prayer, the president will rule with peace of mind. Mind you stronger Boko Haram will emerge after the election and the nation will struggle to combat them. It is only prayer that can solve this.
How will the prophets be assembled and by who?
Jonathan is the President. He knows what to do. Let him gathered the pastors and prophets to do that for him. He is the Commander In-Chief of Armed Forces. The President of Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) is close to him, may be, he can be of assistance to Mr President to reach out to the prophets.
CAN president has done a lot in terms organising prayers, if he calls you, will you attend the prayer programme?
If God says I should be there, if they invite me, I will honour it. But if He says no, I won’t honour the invitation. It is not about me. I have only told you what needs to be done through this medium. I don’t do things on my own except if God says, I should take step. I don’t have to be there.
What other things is God telling you about political fortunes of 2015?
All the political parties will have their own share of crisis in 2015. Listen to this without fear or favour, All Progressives Congress (APC) will lose Oyo and Ogun states. Tell those governor intensive reconciliation with their party members and do what residents in their state desire most and not rely on their good performances alone. Those states are already getting out of their hands, except they hearken to divine instruction and humble themselves before it is too late. In Lagos, if APC presents Ambode, the party will lose woefully. Former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu and Governor Babatunde Fashola will still quarrel over who becomes Lagos governor. The fight may tear the party if not well handled. I am talking as Prophet God. The party can abuse me if they like or go against what I am saying. Let me tell you what the spirit of God says, if APC will listen. I foresee an unknown man from Ikorodu that will win Lagos for APC to replace Governor Babatunde Fashola. The man will perform than Fashola in ten folds if giving a chance. The man will bring about new Lagos to the admiration of Nigerians. The President can’t say he is the one in charge of the country. It is the almighty God. There will trouble in police. Officers should ask for God’s favour and mercy against untimely death. The Inspector General of Police must be careful not be black mailed. I also foresee internal crisis in the military. Note this, if minister of petroleum, Mrs Maduaeke is not careful, she would be disgraced out of office as we go to 2015 election. The aviation sector needs prayers. Security at our airports should be tightened because bombers will attempt to wreak havoc there. High caliber terrorists are already in South South, South West and South East. The security chiefs need to be more vigilant to stop them. The security agencies should be retrained to counter terrorism, however, security without God is zero no matter the faith you profess. We should adopt God’s methodology to tackle the situation at hand. That is when all efforts will be fruitful against terrorism because there are more challenges ahead from 2015 to 2016. There will still be another bomb blast in Abuja soon and Lagos state should be more watchful. The terrorists want to face business centers like the shopping mall, markets, schools and even hospitals apart from churches. Kidnapping will assume another dimension too. All these are meant to destabilise the people. We must pray against pipeline vandalisation. There is a challenge before the Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He must pray against what could land him in trouble. The new Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor will come up with different banking reforms but he should be careful so that he would not be stabbed at the back before he is 20 months old on the seat. Let him pray not to encounter unexpected crisis. He should pray against what would not make his good performance not to be rewarded. One of the proscribed banks is still coming back. Some of electricity companies would run into crisis. Electricity won’t be stable until 2016. We must also pray to cancel a major accident along Lagos Ibadan express way. There would be changes in stock exchange from September this year for good. Sterling and Access banks must be careful not to be queried by the CBN. MTN should be vigilant so that fraud stars wont hatch into the company’s system. Glo should guard against what could make the company face court action. The consequences will affect its progress.
Concerning Lagos, who is the unknown man you are talking about?
Well, if the leaders of the party want, they can reach me and I will tell them. I can’t do that on pages of newspaper. I don’t know the person physically however, the fellow is within the Lagos State employment. He is nobody there, what I mean is that he is not a big political weight. If the party requests my assistance, I will pray further and God will reveal his person but I won’t do that on my own. I don’t play politics. I have told you what I saw. PDP will win South East and South South and some states in South West. In the north, the contest will be keen between APC and PDP. The choice of presidential candidate of APC will break the party to pieces if they are not careful. Immediately they picked the fellow, the party will not have peace except they pray very well and allow God to choose for them. Take this for the record, Edo, Kwara and Rivers States will be taken from APC in 2015 election if they fail to hearken to the voice of God. To before warn is to before arm. Let us pray that God should watch over some personalities and their health towards and after the election year. I pray we won’t have cause to worry of about them.

Aren’t you going to find time to visit Aso Rock to talk to Mr President?
Aso Rock is not in my agenda. My priority is to help the less privilege as much as I can. My position before God is higher than that of president. I enjoy what I am doing.
Any word for our sports administrators? What becomes of the Super Eagles, you said before the nation’s cup that the team would be strong for two years with Stephen Keshi and warned that, if he selects his team with malice, he won’t achieve desire results during Confederation cup and at the World Cup…cuts in…
The team will still go to places. I see the team coming second or third position in the next nation’s cup in Morocco. However, with hard work and necessary prayer steps, Nigeria will lift the trophy again. We told the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), when they were dilly dallying on the choice of coach after Samson Siasia that they should pick Keshi. Tell them now that I am saying Sunday Oliseh is the man to coach Super Eagles. Amodu Shuaibu or any foreign coach will fall Nigeria. Keshi should not be forced to continue. Oliseh’s aura will bring luck to Nigeria if he is appointed. I have said before the World Cup that there would be crisis in NFF after the tournament. Let those in charge allow football to be administered by those who understand the game and are qualified to do so. Politics should not determine who heads the new board so that Nigeria can lead Africa for the next seven years. Former Abia governor, Orji Kalu cannot do it. At best, he can be the patron of NFF.
