•Launches One Million Dollar campaign
Singer, entrepreneur and manufacturer of Whitencious bleaching cream, Dencia has launched an appeal to raise One million dollar for the purchase of Z-Mapp – the experimental Ebola drug for the Ebola epidemic.
The Cameroonian singer released an emotional video where she shares her childhood health struggles as well as her current fears that Ebola is “just a flight away” while pleading with others to donate towards the project.
.”Ebola is sweeping Africa, our people are dying, and our people have died. Fortunately for us, there is a new drug on the market that can help Africans. Z-MAPP is here and we need to raise money for those who can’t afford it.
“Together we can give someone a new life; together we can help someone who has no hope that is why the Dencia Foundation for hope is here to help raise funds to help these people. All donations will pay for treatments for people who can’t afford the Z-MAPP, once it can be purchased. Dencia will personally buy these medications and go to Africa and ensure the right people get it,” she said in the video.
Controversial actress and singer Tonto Dike weeks back kicked-off hand washing campaign aimed at raising awareness on Ebola.
