Husband and boyfriend snatching has always been a recurring theme when talking about actresses in Nigeria. Though most of the stories end up being rumours, there seem to be enough true cases that keep actresses within the scandal radar. Some weeks ago, a lady went all over the social media to announce that actress, Anita Julius as snatched her boyfriend, Teeman. Instantly the case became a sensation.

We have reached the Edo state born Yoruba actress, Anita Efe and she has denied ever snatching anybody’s boyfriend. She asks her fans to disregard anything written about her, that she is in fact taking the case up legally. She has already reported the case to the police.
“Please disregard the story, connecting me to one Teeman. I don’t even know him from anywhere. I only met him once through the said girl that claims to be my best friend. She is not even so close to me, she only sells stuffs for me, and she introduced her boyfriend to me. In fact, I have gone to report the case at the police station. Temilola has been going around to report me to my colleagues in the industry. And I have tried to clear the air about the issue. Infact, I once called the guy and put my phone on speaker in front o f some of my friends to confirm to their face that I do not have anything to do with him,” Anita says.
Temilola continues to blame Anita for snatching her boyfriend. She posted this on her Facebook page. “I met Anita during one of Jaywon’s video shoots and then we became friends. I started selling stuffs to her, but she owed me lots of money and after much pressure, she started paying up gradually.
After I introduced her to my boyfriend, I started noticing some changes in my guy. He stopped coming around. I never knew he was secretly seeing Anita. I would have ended the relationship when I noticed the changes, but for the money they both owed me. It is painful that this same Anita I ran to when I had issues with my man is the same person that has snatched him from me. One day, when I visited my boyfriend at his place, I saw Anita’s things in his house. The same teddy bear in her house, her shoes, bags and duvet that she sells, all scattered around my man’s house. I also saw her few days later riding my man’s car, and when I questioned both of them, they denied it.” It is not clear for now who to believe.
