50 Cent Signs Nigerian Singer To G-Unit Label

Early in this week, American rapper, 50 Cent signed United States-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and actor, Rotimi Akinosho, to his G-Unit label.

Rotimi then went on to release the remix of his song titled “Lotto,” featuring 50 Cent.

According to Nigerian Entertainment Today, Rotimi was born in Maplewood, New Jersey, to Nigerian parents and attended Columbia High School, where he stood out in the school’s basketball team and the choir.

He attended Northwester University and graduated with a minor in Business.

In high school, he won the Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night award twice at the age of 15.

He is the founder and CEO of FrontRoSeat Productions. In 2011, he released two mix tapes, “The Resume” and “While You Wait”.

He has featured in three Hollywood movies, “Black Nativity”, 2013, “Imperial Dreams”, 2013, and “Divergent”, 2014.

Rotimi is also a model; he worked with AKOO Clothing in the 2012 Spring/Summer campaign
