American rapper, Rick Ross, has been released on bail after a week in jail for allegedly pistol-whipping his groundskeeper.
Along with his bodyguard, Nadrian James, Ross appeared in court Wednesday evening for a bail hearing.
He was released after posting a $2 million bail, comprising $1 million equity from the mansion he owns and another property, a $500,000 surety bond and $500,000 in cash.
His lawyer assured the court that Ross would forfeit “to Fayette County the mansion if he does anything to obstruct justice or intimidate any witness.”
