It was a bright Saturday on July 18 when members of Glamour Royale Women Social Club led by their president, Mrs. Shielu Ozor paid a charity visit to So-Said home for the destitute at Okota area in Lagos.
The women all dressed in yellow branded t-shirts were received into the home by the administrators of the home who expressed immense gratitude for members of the club as they donated items and cash gifts to the home.
They all went round the rooms before presentation of gifts just to identify with some of the destitute.

Speaking shortly after the presentation, Ozor explained that the visit which is one of the cores of the organisation is to bring assistance to the less-privileged in the society. “It is just part of me and I like helping people. This runs in my family. We came here because we felt these people really need help as other charity homes are a bit ok. Their cases are very special and we can’t ignore them if really we want to put smiles on the faces of people. I will enjoin others to emulate us. This is one of our objectives and we strictly adhere to it,” Ozor said.
Ozor who founded the club which has glamorous members hinted journalists shortly after the visit that the club will take it activities beyond the shores of Nigeria. The Club founded in year 2013 though a social club also empowers members whenever the need arise.
