Last week, top actor, Segun Arinze exposed a staff of Keystone Bank who he alleged to have withheld money belonging to him. According to Arinze, he had mistakenly paid a sum of N50,000 to the account of a Keystone Bank staff. When he finally got in contact with him, the man refused to refund the money. The matter became public when Arinze released a statement about the issue.
Speaking with Mr. Arinze, he confirmed that the case is now resolved. He said about the issue, “This is to tell you all that Mr Okoli Chukwunonso of Keystone Bank has returned the money and the matter has been resolved. Please once again, I state clearly that it wasn’t just because of the money after all people lose money every day one way or the other. It was the man’s approach and attitude to me. He was rude to me over the issue hence my reaction.”
Segun Arinze also thanked management of the bank for their interference. “Thank you Mr Nduka Iromenu, Head of investigation and customer complaints and Mrs Bolanle Osutule head of corporate communications both of keystone bank for calling me to sort the matter out, no intention to slight your bank’s image it’s regrettable. This also goes out to people who receive such monies in their accounts and try to play smart please kindly do the honourable thing, return such money.”
