It was a bizarre sight to behold last week, when Kate Henshaw and Dan Foster, judges on the ongoing Nigeria’s Got Talent walked out on a contestant named Heaven at the Port Harcourt audition.
The slightly delirious hopeful believed his spooky voice could help him gain a spot in the race for N10 million, but the judges especially Kate Henshaw had a different opinion.
Kate, who couldn’t stand his rendition of Asa’s Eye Adaba, hit her buzzer as well as Dan’s immediately Heaven opened his mouth. But with a mixture of courage and push from Yibo Koko, Heaven continued his performance and this led Kate and Dan to walk out on him.
“Your voice can only lead me to hell not heaven,” said Dan Foster.
At the end of it all, Heaven praised himself for setting a record as no contestant as ever made two judges leave the stage in the history of Nigeria’s Got Talent
