I really do not like to talk about abstract topics like this, but I think it is time to air my view, because like they say “experience is the best teacher.”
We all went through different stuffs. Sometimes, these stuffs break us down, sometimes they thicken us and sometimes they just raise us up.
Life encompasses all we are and all we go through – friendship, love, enmity, hatred, struggles, yet it is one of the simplest units. It faces us differently; none of its cases are similar. When one is crying of food, the other is crying of no plate and spoon with which to eat the food.
A saying goes thus, “there is no rose without thorns and no beauty without ashes”. This saying always seems vague not until you begin to experience life in its fullest. You cannot boldly beat your chest to these sayings until you have had the ashes and then the beauty.
Although, it comes in different proportions and is not the same, surely, we all have come and must pass through it.
Life can be the sweetest and also the sourest, but in whatever situation it presents itself to us, we must stand firmly to see it through to the end. Life is an examiner. An examiner puts to you some tests and expects the best answer at all times, and even when you cannot give the right answers at all times, it gives you another chance to try harder and to correct your wrongs. That is why sometimes we get a second chance to correct our mistakes and most importantly to learn from them in order to be more prepared for other tasks ahead. But sometimes life can be cruel, ‘It at times gives no second chance at all,” it expects its answer once and for all, and that is why they say an opportunity lost cannot be regained.
Life is unpredictable. Nothing is ever sure with life, but you can only hold on to hope and faith. It’s all life requires from us, because with life, nothing goes on forever.
If you could just hold on a little more and believe in yourself just because you fail once, it doesn’t mean you will fail at everything.
Albert Einstein says, “life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself. You are your greatest critic and also your greatest motivation. If you can see it, then you can do it. Hope is all life requires from us, no matter what.
Above all, all you owe yourself, is to keep trying. Keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.
Life is all we’ve got!
