Nigerian-Idol-Season-3-contestantsFrom indications, the television reality show, Nigeria Idol, will be back on air very soon for its fourth season.

According to a release, everything is being put in place to commence the show. The last show saw Moses Adigwe as the winner and many more contestants are gearing up to take part in this year’s edition.

Nigerian Idol is believed to be the biggest music show across Africa. This year it will go across cities in the country in search of undiscovered, brilliant and outstanding singers. While rave-of-the-moment VJ, Ill Rhymz returns this season as host, a co-host will be announced at a later date. However, the cycle of the show remain the same, spanning five months of tough drillings, surprise evictions, grueling rehearsals and awesome performances.

According to Rotimi Pedro, C.E.O Optima Media Group, “the fourth season of Nigerian Idol will be an even more exciting television experience. The last three seasons of the show garnered more viewership, especially with the youth demographic, than any other music reality show – reemphasising the power of the Idol brand across the globe.

“As the World’s number one TV show, we are committed to ensuring that the standards from the past three seasons – in terms of content, production and interactivity are surpassed with Season 4. This is Idol – it’s the real deal,” he said.
