The Federal Government has been advised to make the issue of security in the country a priority.

Wife of the General Overseer of the Foursquare Church Nigeria, Mrs. Bisi Meduoye, gave the advice while speaking with Sunday Independent at the officials inauguration of Pastor’s Wives and Lady Ministers Fellowship at the Oregun district.

On the issue of the abducted girls, she explained that government should sit up on the issue of security, stressing that no one is safe in the country except those who believe in Jesus Christ.

She added that government must rise up and do something on the issue.

“On the issue of the abducted Chibok girls, it is so painful, I don’t think there is no day we don’t pray for them, it is actually disheartening.

“I was just wondering what could be happening to the mothers of these girls, I know God has purpose for everything. He will surly intervene,” she said.

Meduoye, who is the National President of the fellowship, said women too need to rise up and take care of their children.

She stressed that it is disheartening to see children on the streets as street boys, prostitutes and drug addicts and that even the wickedness in the lives of young people nowadays is unimaginable.
