As part of the activities marking the 21st anniversary of Fountain of Hope 39NG of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Isolo, Lagos, members of the group, led by their vice president, Micheal Onagbola, paid a charity visit to residents of Holy Family Old People’s Home in Lagos.

While addressing the elders, who were visibly happy over the visit, Onagbola explained that the outreach is a way of identifying with the elders, while praying to God to increase their days in sound mind and body.

“We all pray that we grow old and when we are old, we will have our children around us who will take care of you, just like you have care givers, who are taking good care of you.

“We love you and so we want to identify with you in commemoration of our 21st anniversary,” Onagbola said.

He disclosed that the weeklong activities will end today at the church’s premises.

Chairman, Organising Committee of the anniversary, Michael Olawuyi, while speaking with Sunday Independent on the visit, explained that the group. a Pan-African organisation in Anglican Church, aside other objectives, also regularly helps the less privileged in different forms.
