Rap artiste, Phyno, might have denied impregnating up and coming artiste, Rita Edmond, but it is still mix reactions that is trailing him.
The rapper, who has become a phenomenon with his fast Igbo lines, has stated clearly that he does not know the singer Edmond neither has he ever spoken to her. Phyno went further to state that he did not put her in the nine months course.
However, music pundits monitoring the development have been wondering why Edmond chose Phyno of all the artistes in the music industry as the man responsible for her pregnancy if they have nothing in common.
This unfortunately, is one question Phyno has not been able to find an answer to.
Phyno has continued to maintain that Edmond only wants to use his fame to climb the ladder of music success hence the allegation.
In his word, “If people need three seconds of fame I am glad that my name could help.”
Phyno has spent less than two years in the main hub of the music industry, but in those times, he has risen to stardom, taking Igbo rap to an enviable level. Some of his hit songs include Ghost Mode, Shut Down and the controversial Man of The Year,which was banned by Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) in 2013.
